Once again, we are honouring a very special request from a loyal fan! Today’s throw back is a song by the group Praye (Not Existing Any More) called JACKET (remix) featuring 4×4, Wutah, Tinny, Samini and Blackson and was produced by the man of that era; JQ. I know you can all agree with me that, this is one of the biggest collaboration and also one of the most loved remixes of all time. The original song did not make so much impact like the remix. As a matter of fact, I can’t remember how the original even sounded like.
PRAYE released this song under “Broomx Entertainment” and that was their “Cocoa” season. After winning a competition organized by Nescafe dubbed “Nescafe Revelation” Azorpete, Big J and Kente rose to fame at a very high speed. Other hit songs they had were Shordy, Angelina, Wodin and many others that were making endless rotations on our TVs and Radios. It’s unfortunate things had to fall apart and see these talented young men chasing different dreams now. The group PRAYE does not exist any more but songs they made will forever be the same.
