Today’s throw back music is from Mad Fish titled “Yahooya” featuring Samini; known as Batman back then… Mad Fish released the original version of this song and it was doing well but it took over the airwaves when we got hit by the remix featuring Samini. JQ produced this song back then and if you listen to the song now, you can still feel the originality and its worth!
Unfortunately, I have forgotten the name of the artist who sang the powerful chorus; but that does not stop us from enjoying the classic banger. LOL… Sometimes I keep asking myself if these artists were able to make power hits like this one, why are they out of the game. It sure could not be because they are irrelevant now because, this song does not sound too different from what we are hearing now. The only difference is that, this one is more Ghanaian with popular Ghanaian instruments. Aside Samini and few others, the rest seems to hold back totally. I hope they pop back soon!
